Sazarac Tasting

Experience a tasting of various Sazarac products including Wheatley’s Vodka, Paddy’s Irish Whiskey, Grind Espresso Spirit. Sorry, no Buffalo Trace or Blanton’s tasting.

Made with the same red winter wheat and limestone water that the Distillery uses in its award-winning bourbons, Wheatley Vodka is crafted in small batches and distilled ten times over. The result, according to Harlen Wheatley himself, is “how vodka is supposed to taste.”

An approachable Irish whiskey comprised of a triple-distilled blend of grain, malt and pot-still, Paddy’s Irish Whiskey is mild and yet crisp, with a hint of honey. The grain brings a light, floral sweetness. The malt adds a note of toasty biscuit. Whilst the pot-still brings the traditional Irish creaminess. Triple-distilled from the finest barley and water from County Cork’s Irish countryside, Paddy’s matures for years in three types of oaken casks, acquiring its distinctively rich and golden color in dark, aromatic warehouses before being shipped directly from Ireland.

At Grind, we love espresso and we certainly love a good cocktail, so why not an espresso spirit? We gathered our barista and bartender friends together to taste different coffee blends and spirits until we found a liquid we love: medium-roasted Colombian Arabica beans carefully blended with smooth Caribbean Rum, for a finely balanced espresso spirit that can be mixed with almost anything.
